JTC Kuwait announced that its Power Rental Division successfully completed the procurement of 110 new units of Cummins diesel generators, in the low to high-capacity range, from 100 KVA to 1,000 KVA. The landmark purchase of these generator sets is primarily aimed at meeting the markets demand and is part of JTC’s ongoing initiatives of maintaining a strong foothold within the power generation rental market.

The new generators feature noise attenuation and are perfect for installations where keeping noise to a minimum is required. Additionally, the generators are manufactured with the latest and highest safety standards allowing them to be utilized in oil and gas operation fields.

Commenting on the recent acquisition, Adel Kohari, Chief Executive Officer of JTC said, “We are pleased to receive the new generators which, in addition to JTC’s existing fleet, will certainly help provide reliable and continuous power to meet the continuous demand of our clients. These generators have been designed specifically for the harsh operating environment of the Middle East rental market and finished to the highest standard. JTC has expanded its fleet with a new nine-axle, 700-tonne lift capacity, Demag AC 700-9 all terrain crane.

The crane has a main boom length of 60 m and main boom extension length of 96 m. Its compact chassis design makes transporting and positioning quick and easy, says JTC.

JTC operates a fleet comprising more than 25 Demag and Terex cranes. The company added five smaller Demag units to its fleet earlier this year to keep up with its growing workload in Kuwait and Qatar.

Road Junction & Transport Company (RJTC), Qatar a subsidiary of JTC Kuwait has enhanced its fleet by a adding 220 ton Tadano ATF 220G-5 All Terrain crane to meet the requirements on its Oil & Gas contracts.

To cater to the demand on its contracts, JTC has strengthened its Crane fleet in Kuwait with the recent purchase of 2 new AT Cranes, a 300T Grove GMK 6300L with a 80M seven-section full power MEGAFORM™ boom with TWIN-LOCK™ pinning and; a 100T Grove GMK 4100L with a 60M six section MEGAFORM boom design.

Both these cranes come with the MEGATRAK™ suspension system which is the best off-road driveline available on the market today. The MEGATRAK™ independent suspension and all-wheel steer system allows wheels to remain on the ground at all times so stresses and weight are not continually transferred between axles.

To satisfy the requirements on its Oil & Gas contracts, JTC has boosted its existing Generator fleet by adding 43 new units of CUMMINS generators in the mid- to high-capacity range, from 300 KVA to 1250 KVA; thereby taking its total fleet strength to 450 units.

JTC has recently been awarded a five-year contract from Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation (KNPC) for the Hire of Heavy Transport Vehicles and Miscellaneous Mobile Equipment for KNPC Refineries namely; Mina Ahmadi, Mina Abdullah, Shuaiba as well as Local Marketing Department.

To meet the requirements on various projects, JTC adds the following All Terrain Cranes to its existing Crane fleet:
